The NC General Assembly’s Joint Redistricting Committee latest redistricting public hearing proposal as of Sept. 1:

Disregards key details on how public hearings will be held;
Excludes major population centers like Buncombe, Guilford and Wake counties and major rural hubs throughout the state; and
Omits any options to take public input AFTER draft maps are revealed or provide comments to the public.

Lawmakers released this information without notice or a vote, buried it on the NCGA's website, ahead of a holiday weekend a mere week before hearings are to begin.

We deserve better. Now's the time to demand more. Take THREE important steps now:
